Direct Care Attendant

The DCA is responsible for providing care, supervision and training for HCS Programs consumers in their place of residence. The DCA is responsible for providing quality and safe DCA services in order that consumers can reach their greatest level of independence. The DCA possesses a mature approach and a sympathetic/empathetic attitude toward people with disabilities and the elderly. The DCA is able to read, write and carry out directions in a safe, effective and efficient manner. You will be evaluated on Professional Behaviors during each evaluation period. The DCA reports directly to the HCS Programs Scheduler.

Highland Park:  This client is hoping to receive goal training and improve his daily living skills several days per week. He is interested in working on his fine motor skills and receiving encouragement through his attendant. Hours are negotiable with the family and can be discussed upon request. 

Dallas — White Rock Lake Area:  This female client is wanting an Attendant to assist her travel into the community to complete her grocery shopping, run small errands, and assist her with organizing her home. The client prefers a strict schedule of 2–3 days per week for at least 3 hours. The specific days and times are negotiable. Plano:  This family is requesting an attendant for their 18 year old daughter. They will require assistance on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6PM to 9PM. They are also asking for assistance on Saturdays from 11AM to 5PM. There is no transportation required. Please contact us for more details!

Occupational Therapist

PRN M—F – OT in client’s home, treatment, occupational therapy evaluations, annual treatment plan or other written assessments. Must have current OT license and professional liability insurance in the State of Texas. Must be comfortable working with people with various intellectual and physical disabilities. Must have reliable transportation and current autio insurance.
